ADDRESS:
837 Kuykendall Crk Rd, Brevard, NC 28712
NOTE: The address for the camping area when searched for by name is NOT CORRECT!!!
WHERE IS THE TOURNAMENT/CAMPING: !!!DIRECTIONS UPDATED!!!
The location is the Kuykendall Group Camp . We were just informed that the "usual" roadway to access the campground (from the south off of US-64 via Cathey's Creek Rd.) is under construction and that the route from the north must be taken to reach the site. Allow yourself an extra 30 minutes due to this route change, as that is the average detour time when mapped from most directions. This route will have you on National Forest gravel roads for more of the trip to the site.

If coming from the Knoxville Direction: https://maps.app.goo.gl/YZhKS4vFFbVV1Z6R8
Note: The map links above are using a multi-stop route to force the proper route, otherwise Maps/Waze will try the other route that is closed from US 64. Make sure you see each of the stops below in your route map to know you are taking the proper route.
If you want to create the route yourself, here is how the multi-stop map was created to force you on the proper route:
>First, map to Gloucester Gap Art Loeb Trailhead, National Forest 475 Rd, Balsam Grove, NC 28708
>Then add a stop to High Valley Trout & Tree Farm, 615 Catheys Creek Road, Brevard, NC 28712
>Finally, then add a stop to 837 Kuykendall Crk Rd, Brevard, NC 28712 (Campsite/Tourney site)
OFFLINE MAP: Download an offline version of the map (Google Maps or Waze) route to your phone in advance, as coverage will be spotty at best to get cell signal or GPS maps to load once in the mountains. Not sure how to do this...you can Google it and find multiple instructional videos.
